La Haye Farm Update

I previously set out my research on La Haye Farm and can now present the model in place on the diorama.  The farm was built by my father and I have built the scenery on an extended section in order to allow it all on one continuous piece.  I am quite pleased with the results.  The photographs of the model are interspersed with pictures of the farm today.

Below are some maps showing how the area developed between the time of Ferraris in the late 18th Century to the mid 20th Century

  1. More masterful model-making from you and your father, James! I thought that your Hougoumont could not be exceeded, but you have both done so with this. It is simply amazing and an absolute delight to view. Such brilliant weathering of the buildings and so many marvellous details. Thank you.
    Regards, James
