Taking advantage of the spring weather, I decided to take the Smohain part of the model outside for some sunshine. I was able to make various improvements but there is still a long way to go.
Here are the results:
The ruined building is new

| I moved the school house some distance from the village to give it greater perspective |
| The wood at Frischermont |
| The ground is uneven so the tables are too, meaning that the sections don't join properly. But on a flat surface, they should be fine. |
The tower at Frischermont
| La Haye Farm with new section, behind which adjoins Smohain. |
| The brook needs quite a lot of work |
| The track running west from the school house is at an early stage |
Excellent! Delightful! Charming! I like it. Wonderful work.
ReplyDeleteWords escape me beyond a feeble 'Wow!" I especially like the half-timbered buildings.
