I've been getting ready for the next exhibition of the diorama and have worked hard to prepare enough French infantry. These photos show three new battalions of Charlet's Brigade assaulting to the east of La Haye Sainte towards the sandpit.
There is also a French Horse battery unlimbered behind the second battalion. Each battalion is shown with four fusilier companies, one of grenadiers and one of voltigeurs. Each company is 100 strong to which should be added officers, drummers, Eagle party and pioneers. In all, there are about 2,000 new figures shown here. I am really grateful to all those who helped out.

the fusiliers in this battalion are a mix of Art Miniatures, NapoleoN and Schilling |
|
The battery is by Hat and Zvezda |
|
The Voltigeurs are mostly Waterloo 1815 |
|
This rear battalion is mostly by RSM |

Trying to find enough variety of casualty poses was a challenge |
By Toutatis, that's impressive! Would those be RSM miniatures at the back with sloped arms, by any chance? They look terrific, whatever they are. Best wishes for 2024, Matthew
ReplyDeleteThat's right Matthew, they are by RSM. Best wishes to you!
ReplyDeleteNow *that* is what I call a brigade of figures! I thought that I had a lot of figures, but they pale against what you have in just a few sections of this diorama that gets more and more sensational with each post! Regards, James
