Apologies

For some reason I can't seem to be able to respond to people's comments on the blog.  This may be because the security settings on my computer don't allow me to do this, but anyway, I just wanted to say sorry for not replying as it must appear rude.

Here are a few photos by way of amends:

Yes, that is the daughter's doll's house in the background!

  1. A picture tells a thousand words and yours speak many-fold that!

It will be security settings on your browser that are impacting on your ability to make comments. I usually use Safari, but have not been able to get comments to work in it in recent months, despite turning off the 'prevent-cross site tracking' option in the preferences. I now use Firefox for all blogging and can comment, reply and post as previously.

  2. As always, stunning work! Although La Haye Sainte in the background looks suspiciously like a dollhouse constructed from a kit in the fifth photograph (I have some experience there. Never again!). No matter though since cameras were not around in 1815, and any drawings or paintings may have been subject to artistic license.

    Best Regards,

    Stokes
