Courtesy of Liam, Le Caillou has been filling up with an extraordinary range of figures showing the Imperial Headquarters and household. Many of the vehicles are not commercially available as models so Liam has scratch built them. The figures are a mixture of Franznap, Hagen, Art Miniaturen, conversions and some 3D prints. There are still some stands to hide but it's coming together.

ReplyDeleteI can knock together summat from plastic card and rod, stick heads onto torsos (not to mention my fingers joined), paint, as taught to me by my sons two decades ago from Lord of the Rings figures (they are still amazing as I kept a few). But the real art is to create those buildings (Siborne Senior) and then populate them (the Boss himself).What gets to me is the quality of the photography now, something I did criticise a decade ago. The average phone beats an SLR any day now (I was going to say a 35mm SLR. Just try to find the film now)
